What is a neck lift?
A neck lift is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the neck and reduce the signs of ageing and weight loss.
Neck lift tightens the skin of the neck and gives a smoother and more defined line around your jaw line. The method is to undermine the skin and remove the excess. At the same time the underlying muscle is tightened. The incisions are concealed behind the ear or in the scalp and under the chin for the most of its length. In men with heavy necks this surgery has to be often redone in one year.

What results can I expect?
After neck lift surgery, many patients report that the neck and jaw line look about five to 10 years younger. The results of a neck lift typically last up to 10 years, however, your surgeon is the best person to determine whether your expectations are achievable.

When can I resume normal activities?
Most patients feel well enough to return to work within two weeks. Avoid sports or other strenuous activities for at least three weeks. Complete healing and recovery may take a few months.
